Cross-country skiing & ski touring

The Krallerhof is at the heart of a designated region for cross-country skiing and biathlon. This means that you can join the network of trails right outside the hotel. About 150 km of perfectly maintained tracks provide perfect conditions for all standards and every style. Ski tourers will find breathtaking scenery, powder snow and nature at its very best. Accompanied by qualified mountain guides and ski guides, you can experience the most beautiful peaks and the most exciting powder snow runs away from the busy pistes.

Winter walking & snow-shoe walking

You'll find many remote winter paths through the deep snow in the numerous side valleys of Saalfelden Leogang. They are ideal if you want a leisurely winter walk starting directly from the Krallerhof. If you prefer to strike out on your own, simply pull on some snowshoes. When you go snowshoe walking, you can explore the beautiful winter landscapes almost completely noiselessly.

The Leos Kufengaudi sledging run starts by the Stöcklalm at the middle station of the Asitzbahn cable car. The run takes you about 4 km all the way down to the valley. Every Tuesday and Friday there's romantic sledging by moonlight here. And where in winter there's Leo's Kufengaudi, in summer there's the LeoKlang, the world's first sledging run with accompanying sound effects.

Horse-drawn sledge ride

All wrapped up in a snug blanket, you can really enjoy the snowy winter landscape. The sledge glides almost silently across the snow. Only occasionally does the snorting of the Noriker horses disturb the silence. Could there be anything more romantic than a horse-drawn sledge ride?
